There are many differences between Michael and the estate.

Michael was an enlightened man who had messages to share and his art was an avenue to do that. The estate has no message. It is a soulless corporation that trades on Michael's legacy, a legacy that Michael created, a legacy that was already there on June 25, 2009.

Michael's life had purpose and he made a difference in many people's lives. Michael cared.

The estate makes money and it doesn't care how and who it uses to do that. The estate will say and do anything to make money. It will use Michael's family, Michael's friends, Michael's peers and Michael's fans to do that if it can, and it has. It will use PR, it will use lawyers, it will use Michael's name to attempt to silence any voice that dares to question its methods and how it operates, and it has.

The estate is far removed from what Michael stood for.

Michael's main assets remain with $ony today. The estate's partnership with $ony means that Michael's major assets have become tied to $ony more than ever before.
